Rev. Dr. Adrain King was born in Sarawak, Malaysia. He accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour at the age of 17 and was called to commit and dedicate himself to God the same year.

Together with his beloved wife Eve, they have three charming kids, two boys and a girl. After he obtained a Master degree in Construction Management, he worked as a Project Manager for two years before enrolling himself in seminary study.

In 2017 he received his Doctorate Degree from Claremont School of Theology (CST). He is currently the President of the Provisional Annual Conference of the Chinese Methodist Church in New Zealand (CMCNZ) and also the Senior Pastor and Pastor-in-charge of the Christchurch Chinese Methodist Church. He calls himself a literation who loves especially Chinese literature. Preaching and teaching are his mandates, while music and coffee are his favourites.

Rev. Qingming Chen was born in Jiangxi, China in 1967, is married to Lihong Huang and they have a son.

He graduated in 1990 with a Bachelor degree in Electronics Engineering and in 2010, he obtained a Master degree in Project Management from the National University of Singapore. In 2015, he graduated with a Master of Divinity from Singapore Bible College.

 

From 1990 to 2012, he worked as an engineer for new product design and development with leading telecommunication companies in China and Singapore. Since 2015, he has been a Pastor of the Christchurch Chinese Methodist Church under the Provisional Annual Conference of the Chinese Methodist Church in New Zealand.
